Purchased a one-year business savings bond. Very slick online account opening process (compared to the clunky process of a rival challenger bank). Having completed the application, it would have been nice to have received an email confirmation and an indication of roughly how long the approval would take. In the event, it was 3 days. That aside, it's all good. Early days yet, but I get the impression that this is a friendly bank with good customer service.
Easy to set up online account, everything went very smoothly, I didn’t have any problems at all, but feel very confident that had anything had gone wrong it would have been sorted straight away. Would definitely recommend.
This bank does not distant itself from their customers… the bank with the human touch has really helped me out of a pickle (‘when the rule computer said no)’ … great customer service too…
I opened a two year fixed rate savings account with Allica Bank at the weekend and was a little perturbed by warnings from my bank that they could not verify the account as the bank did not offer this service. I was anxious about this on the Sunday so I contacted the help line at Allica and was reassured early on Monday morning and that this was normal procedure for bank security and that it was quite safe to proceed with funding my new account. I also found a similar answer to my query in their FAQs so I now had real peace of mind to fund my new account.
All dealings have been very good so far ... no issues and Allica have increased the interest rate of a notice account rather than force customers to open a new one at the higher rate and wait out notice ... fair and decent.
